We had Harry and the boys out to neaten up the overgrown trees in our Mill Park backyard and the overhanging branches from our neighbours trees. I can't believe the difference it's made. They were here on time and the work was done and dusted in 1 hour. I had 3 quotes and I could not believe the amount that the other guys wanted to charge me.

Harry and his team did excellent work! They are highly professional and cleaned up after themselves. They took great care with the surrounding shrubs surrounding the 8m palm tree they cut down and stump-removed. They were also the most competitively priced quote. Very highly recommended the team at Harry's Yard in Mill Park!

We were very pleased with the work from Harry and his team. The job has to be rescheduled a number of times due to the Mill Park rain! their support was great at communicating and setting up new appointments. Harry and team arrived promptly, job was safely and efficiently done. Removing two dead palm trees and removing three large trunks from a large Queensland umbrella tree from an inner Mill Park city terrace garden. All debris was removed from garden and the front street where the chipper machine was parked was left clean and tidy. Highly recommended!

Should I remove a tree close to my Mill Park House?

Trees hanging over the roof or too close to a home might need to be removed – or at least regularly pruned. In general, large trees should be at least 6-10 meters away from a house or building.

Can you remove a tree stump by yourself in Mill Park?

Yes. Dig around the stump, exposing as many roots as possible. Use a chainsaw, hatchet, or handsaw to cut the larger roots. As you continue digging, you may find smaller roots that can be cut with clippers or loppers. Once you've cut all of the roots around the stump, lift and remove the stump from the ground.

What time of year is best for tree removal in Mill Park?

Autumn is the best time of the year statistically for tree removal—as that's otherwise known as “dormant season” in Mill Park for trees. During Autumn the leaves are falling from the trees making it easier for a tree service to cut down the tree safely and quickly.

Does removing trees in Mill Park decrease property value?

Can cutting down a tree increase property value? Removing dying or hazardous trees can increase property value, experts say. This mostly depends on the health of the tree. If a tree is in poor health or is a potential hazard, removing it could help maintain the value of the property.

What is the word for cutting trees?

Felling is the process of cutting down trees, an element of the task of logging. The person cutting the trees is a feller. A feller buncher is a machine capable of felling a single large tree or grouping and felling several small ones simultaneously.

What is the best method of tree cutting in Mill Park?

Whenever possible, stand on the uphill side of the tree. Work from the left side of the trunk (as you face toward the top of the tree). This allows the safest and most efficient use of the chain saw because you can rest the side or bottom of the saw on the trunk and slice off the branches with a pivoting motion..

What is a tree lopping in Mill Park?

Tree lopping is the trimming of tree branches to reduce and modify the size or shape of the tree. However, there are many downsides to performing this service on the trees that are inhabiting your residential or commercial property.

What is the difference between pruning and lopping?

These main differences are as follows: Lopping is the trimming of tree branches to reduce and modify the size of the tree. Pruning helps to protect trees against disease to aid health for a long life.
